Protect app areas with a code
If you want to use SmartRace in an environment in which the people operating the app should not have unrestricted access to all of the app’s functions (e.g. children or people using the track at a public event), you can protect individual app areas with a four-digit code. You can set the code in SmartRace under Settings > Miscellaneous. There you can also select which areas you want to protect.
If you have forgotten the code
If you forget the code, the only option is to reinstall the app. To do this, you can always access the “Backup & restore” section in the main menu, create a new backup there and then export it to a location outside the app. You should then reinstall the app and restore your data from the backup. The code protection is then no longer active and you can select a new code.
