When the “Fuel” switch is activated, the Control Unit simulates the vehicles’ fuel “consumption” based on the intensity with which the throttle lever on the controller is pressed. The harder the driver presses, the higher the consumption. This works well, but leads to unfair situations. That’s where the lap time-based fuel simulation comes in: it simulates – as the name suggests – consumption based on lap time. The faster the time, the higher the consumption.
For this purpose, a target lap time can be configured (per track, if desired), on the basis of which the deviation is measured. The extent to which fast or slow driving affects consumption can also be set.
